About us

The Assist LLC was founded in 2023 by Dr. Nicole Morin, who holds a master’s in professional counseling and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction, emphasizing special education. Dr. Morin has spent her career in higher education, working in admissions, academic affairs, and curriculum departments. She has assisted students, friends, and colleagues improve their writing skills for over a decade. Furthermore, she has worked with various small businesses, entrepreneurs, and mid-size companies over the last decade, writing their marketing and website content.

In 2023, Dr. Morin realized she could help a larger audience and founded The Assist LLC. Dr. Morin discovered a need for writing and editing services within these areas after speaking with academics, authors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. Dr. Morin is excited to bring The Assist LLC to life. She is eager to help individuals achieve their writing goals through her editing services and 100% online courses. Dr. Morin prides herself on providing impeccable editing services and helping those obtain the knowledge needed to enhance individuals’ confidence when writing. 

After speaking with various individuals, she discovered that many write content and unquestioningly publish or submit their work, hoping for the best without being confident. She compared this to throwing a Hail Mary in sports, throwing a pass, and just hoping for a good outcome. The Assist LLC encourages you to write confidently instead of hoping.
